hey rick-
it wouldn't offend me in the least if you had led zep, the who, deep purple, procol harem, the moodys on the playlist! it'd be very difficult to point to where progressive and these bands diverged. led zep not progressive? they may not be prog... we heard all this stuff on college radio in the 70's, along w/ tunes like "time has come today" by the chambers brothers, "the revolution will not be televised" by gil scott heron, firesign theatre comedy, the nat lamp radio hour, even early synth stuff like "snowflakes are dancing" by tomita. freeform radio w/o the genre box. seriously, you don't know what you missed. k

nope. i'm just hoping for a day that "prog" becomes a verb again.
