Interzone - July 5, 2005: Jazz-Rock V
Hello.....
This week I’ll be featuring another three hours of jazz-rock fusion. Is it jazz? Is it rock? Who knows? Who cares? Interzone is all about playing the various shades of gray. It used to be easy to identify jazz-fusion back when a few bands were emerging to the forefront of the movement. But after 35 years, it has become an entire class of music and to simply call it jazz, or rock, or prog just doesn't do it justice. So as time goes on, I'll be exploring this broad continuum. Please join me Interzone premieres each Tuesday evening from 8pm to 11pm eastern time and replays Wednesday afternoons from 2pm-5pm. - Cozy PS - Playlist to come
