Closer to Home came out in the late 60's. Don't sit there and tell me if it's prog or not. Leave that for the people who grew up with that song (I was a few years too late, sorry to say). I'd say "Black Licorice" has more prog elements.
There are other GFR songs that would fit better into the genre than anything off of Am. Band.
