2012 Gagliarchives Top 100 List

After listening to a great series of shows featuring the listener voted Top 100 albums of 2012, here is the published list of that poll.

http://gagliarchives.com/12top100.html

Thank you, Tom. Great shows.

As much as I love Tom's show, his voters are off base as usual.

Weren't you one of the voters? . I actually think the list is pretty good. It will never line up exactly to an individuals taste. The only problem I have is that "best of year" lists should be only for new music. I believe that live albums, cover albums or archival releases should be excluded from consideration. Minor quibble though.

Ken, you need to expand your tastes! This is a progressive rock site.

Hi MM. I wasn't complaining, and I was trying to make my remark light-hearted.

Anyway, I was one of the voters, and I actually think my tastes are pretty varied, to include symph, neo, crossover, RPI, heavy prog, etc. However, only one of my top ten made Tom's top 100, and that was Frequency Drift at #85.

I do agree with you, though, about live albums and remake albums.

See you around.
