Remember, part of the purpose of this promotion is to encourage people to become a Patron. It is really not that expensive if you think about it.

In the land that brought you apartheid it would cost the same as:
... 25 packs of cigarettes.
... 20 six-packs of average local beer.
... 18 six-packs of the best local beer.
... 15 six-packs of good imported beer.
... 8 bottles of good local red wine.
... 4 bottles of Jack Daniel's.
... 27 supersize Big Mac Mac Meals.

If you add another $5 you may get 2 bottle of 12 YO Glenfiddich single malt.

Or 1 months broadband connection at a good enought speed to reap the benefits of a Patron.
