Personally I listen to so many different things. If I had a dollar on every thread here that tried to define prog, I'd have about 40 dollars.

All I have to say about defining it is that trying to define a BAND is useless. A style of a particular song, ok.

I don't accept or not accept they were prog...I just don't bother with it because it's undefinable. And doesn't reduce or increase my enjoyment of it.

I'd agree with that Rick. And further - just because a Progger likes a group or song that doesn't make it prog!
