re Lana Lane

Watching the grammy's last night, I realized how many singers have terrible voices.
I like Lana Lane's.

Talking OOps wrong thread......

Posted under the wrong thread before.

Jim, Davin,

Are you still considering this?

I think it would be interesting to do this even if it's only once in a while. some of the suggested programmes were pretty good I think.

There are also a lot more forum members now who might come up with new playlists rather than the "Time honoured" classics that I managed.

One of my favorite bands is Kings X - and I see a set list with Faith Hope Love on it - very boring - it's good for three minutes and then repeats itself over and over for the next five - Yesspaz, did you pick that song because it's more "proggy"? It's not, it's just boring.

First post here.

What ever happened with this idea? It's a great idea for a show and I would certainly listen if you tell me when. If this is still in play, I may try to submit a list, too.

Since this is my first post, I will also take the opportunity to say that I love the station and really respect what you guys are doing. Keep it up.

"We Were Born to Be Loved/Faith Hope Love" is great! Yeah, FHL is a little repetative, but it's no more repetative than Oldfield's "Amarok" or no more monotonous than KC "Moonchild"

FHL has that groove:
da da da da (pause) da da da da (pause) da da da da da da da da da da (small pause) (then) dow dOW DOW! dow dOW DOW! (repeat). all the while the three-part "Faith, Hope Love." Great piece of prog delight.

I should be happy the there are KX fans out there.

We Were Born is great. And yes, Moonchild is a bore.

There's a thin line...

between relaxed and flaccid.
