Rickter Scale Show 145 - Progday past and present

Airing Sunday, Sept 2 from 8-11 PM EST and Monday, Sept 3 from 1-4 EST

Not a minute of time this week, so a quick note about the show.

I was faced with three choices:

1) Doing this show
2) Skipping a week
3) Playing Greg Howard's "Water On The Moon" + Thick As A Brick + 3 GYBE songs.

# 1 is the winner.....

Four of the Progday artists have music on the Moon. We will hear them first - Naikaku, Skeleton Breath, Frogg Cafe, and Advent. I'll play the other four artists next week if I pick up some of their CD's.

The balance of the three hours will be past Progday performances from the seven disc Progday Encore set, which I uploaded last year at this time, and Progday 98, which I did two years ago.

The artists you'll hear are: Discipline, The Flower Kings, Alaska, A Piedi Nudi, Cloud Nine (now Ozone Quartet), Ars Nova, Deus Ex Machina, Smokin' Granny, Glass Hammer, and After The Fall. No detailed list this time.

I'll only have an opening and closing voice, so just the music.

Leaving Friday morning and back sometime Monday afternoon, so I may catch you at the tail end of the repeat.
