Good to see the Davey Pattison Trower records get some love... I'll do a Trower show at some point......Off of those I really dig "If You Really Want To Find Love", that's got a lot of soul.

Symphony X...I'll be seeing them next week - if I hand around that long. It's 90 minutes away and I'm there early to see another band.....

Doggy - How is Jelly Jam 2?

R & R - Jelly Jam 2 Kicks Butt, as do all of Ty Tabor's related material (Kings X Rules). BTW I listen to a lot of these cd's at work (I own a country store in Tennessee and put a lot of hours in)

R & R - I retired from the St. Petersburg Times as Senior Electronics Technician (21 years of service, only 48 yrs old) in Florida and my wife and I bought a country store in TN. Moved to the mountains (own 100 acres). I LOVE it here. Give me the Salem Hill gig dates.

I've actually considered bying some Gaye and perhaps other Motown artists in the future. Also at least a little bit of Sam Cooke...

In addition, I need to explore some good funk, of course.

Well, there is a lot of good Funk that has just been reissued. One group that stands out in my collection is Sly and The Family Stone. I listen to them all the time. Their whole library was just reissued.
