Re: Premiata Forneria Marconi (PFM)

That's why they're towards the bottom. I doubt anyone other than a hardcore PFM fan will listen to them. Being of italian descent, I like them, but in a different sense for the more genuine prog titles. Sounare Suonare is a phenomenal album if you like that era of music. Several of these tracks were played on Live in Japan. Colazione a Disneyland from Miss Baker is a great instrumental piece.

When you say Live in Siena, I believe you are referring to the reunion album with Pagani titled PFM e Pagani, right? That one was recorded in 2005 and mentioned in my original post.

Really good to have more PFM fans on the Moon gr8sho92.

Did you know that you can donate CDs that you want to have added to the playlist to the station? They need to be original copies (not rips) and they need to be sent to the program director Jim who has the final say in whether or not Cds are added.

Donating CDs to the station keeps the playlist going and also helps keep Jim's personal expense down. He, VAX, Roger dot Lee and others give there time and money FREE so that we can all enjoy the beauty that is Aural Moon.

If you want to donate in any way drop me a Personal Message (PM) and I'll take you through the process.

I guess the Moon is just another example of how the internet is used to make the world a smaller place.

Here in the states, the stations available on FM radio never got into this type of music other than playing the bigger songs from English bands like those mentioned in the AuralMoon description. Even satellite radio like Sirius and XM don't venture into this territory (I was told that XM had a prog channel now defunct).

For the collection AM already in place, I am truly amazed and impressed at the breath of what is considered Prog that gets played. And it's great that so much of what is played is done by the listeners themselves.
