I like the idea of two songs each..

and Tool...I love it!

Oh yeah, that would have fit in my two-hour slot just fine...

Why didn't they make it 25 seconds longer so that it would have been 21:12? That would have been perfect!

Moses,

Thank you for the theme of this week's show... I am really looking forward to it...

I appreciate your willingness to explore this 'aurally'.

Regards,
Ted

Re: The Fusion Reactor #140 - The Fruit of the Spirit

I once heard a definition of meekness as "having power, but choosing not to use it."

Like if you or I held a robin egg in our hands (I'm thinking spring here), it would be easy to give it a little *squeeze* and ... bye bye birdie. But we choose not to. Hopefully.

This seems almost entirely contrary to the prog ethic. If a band has the power to crush us with their song, they most likely will. Heck, we'd *want* them to!

Still, I can think of some examples of that "holding back the power" that might make for an interesting show some week.

Well Rush mostly only plays the first two sections

here's a George Carlinism for meek - "a mouse can kill a gorilla, all he needs is the element of surprise"....
