Robert Wyatt

"What a strange album, although so compelling that I can't turn it off. Robert Wyatt's 'Ruth Is Stranger Than Richard' ('75)"

This IS a strange album but great all the same. Roberts voice is so quirky it has a real charm to it.

I also love his "Rock bottom" album......probably more so.

As I'm typing I'm listening to the track 'Little Red Riding Hood Hit The Road'. Great sound! Trumpets, backwards recordings, Ivor Cutler's narration.............bloody wonderful avant garde stuff.

This album would definitely grace the AM playlists with no trouble at all.

What about it Jim?
