Re: Top 5 Prog Rock Albums

It was really hard to narrow it down to just five.
But I think I pulled it off.

1.Genesis - "Foxtrot"
2.Pink Floyd - "Dark Side of the Moon"
3.Yes - "Close To The Edge"
4.Van Der Graaf Generator - "Godbluff"
5.Rush - "Moving Pictures"

"Pure Reason Revolution" keeps coming up. I agree with spaz: we need to hear more. Any chance of hearing some more on the moon?

it's been on the Gagliarchives for 7-8 weeks now. Also, I will see them in the UK in about a month. If I buy the CD I will play it..

Re: Top 5 Prog Rock Albums

Not to be an ethical echo, spaz, but Jim asked for original copies only, on another thread (sorry, can't remember which), unless artist gives express permission for copies. Copyright reasons.

Ethical Echo...GREAT name for a band!

to reiterate, I can pick it up next month. But it's on the Gags and well, I for one am willing to wait for something good...

Re: Top 5 Prog Rock Albums

No prob, taril! Some people donate CD's if they're moved to do so, but that's up to them. I just wanted to pipe up about the copies vs originals issue.

Sounds like rick has it covered.
