Changes...

or maybe not.

I will be working full time starting 8/1, but will continue to do the show.

This would be a good time to review if the airtimes work for everyone.

Sunday 8-11 EST. Is the best for me, but ensures no European listening. It's the only night that works, so I don't wnt to move this one.

Monday 1-4 EST. All things being equal I would like to stay at this one also. Does this time slot capture the widest audience? It's 10-1 AM on West Coast and 7-10 PM in Western Europe.

Opinions please....

The biggest drawback personally will be the lack of interaction on the Monday replay. But I think everyone enjoys Mondays, and all days are the same, i'll be working anyway.

Avian, Jim - if I purchase a laptop, will I be able to have a VNC connection like I do at home? Being able to fix emergencies and take off the ID tag for three hours is a help.

I'm keeping my side job, so my faff time will be curtailed. But I love to do the show, and will keep it going as long as possible.

VNC on a portable isn't going to be your issue. I think you will find that your issue will be having internet access available to you. Also, I don't know where you are going to be working but your employer may have certain ports on their router blocked. FYI, VNC needs to see port 5900 open.
