RIP-Syd Barrett

Just got home from a (pretty bad) night out to LOADS of e-mails about Syd's passing.

I can't believe it!!!!!!!

The man was an amazing talent!!! Sure he had his problems, most of them self inflicted, but YE GODS!! What a composer, arranger, guitarist and ICON he was.

Where would we be without Syd? No Astronomy Domine, no Intersteller Overdrive and no BIKE.....LMAO .

A PF classic like "Shine on........." would never have graced our ears were it not for Syd - who turned up at the studio "ready to do his bit" when the track was being laid down.
