Re: Show 61....

wow Methem thanks! Barry Mitterhoff is amazing on his 1/2 guitar and Mandolin (see my post in the concert reviews)...

I can relate to the "dick" thing...for some reason, Richard in the US is shortened to Dick. It's like John and Jack...never figured out the origin. Most people under 40 are not named Dick anymore. I may have been called Dick maybe twice in my life, by very old men.

As an aside, I'm definitely playing Kingston Wall on the 18/19 and may be able to get a copy of II and or III.

Yea, I read the post. I'm somewhat familiar with the music of Jefferson Airplane (of course), but I have to admit that I'm not sure if I've ever actually heard anything from Hot Tuna.

Oh, I definitely don't have anything against Dick. Just thought there was something funny in the whole thing, especially when you wrote that it was a funny shirt.

Nice.

Speaking of "Jorma" and KW...

Long ago, there was a popular Finnish band called Jormas
(http://60spunk.m78.com/finnishbands.htm). One of the members of the band was guitarist Hasse Walli. He's perhaps best known from the old folk/world music group Piirpauke. Late Petri Walli of KW was his 20 years younger stepbrother/half-brother.

... Talk about a far-fetched connection between the two things, but...
