Words are inadequate

...but, the sound of those square waves in "Lucky Man" does "speak" to the wonderful contributions Moog made.

I remember being quite a "pest" as a teenager hanging out at the music store in the 70s, where they had a MiniMoog for sale that you could twiddle on with the headphones! I was "flying blind" at the time, as it was probably the first synth I laid my hands on (until that same store got an Arp Oddysey in!!) It wasn't so easy to make sounds on it as I thought it might be, but I really didn't know what I was doing.

I also had the good fortune to know a guy who worked at the campus sports arena where ELP played their BSS tour. He hauled me up onto the stage during the teardown, where I got a "player's view" of Keith's Moog rig (which, only minutes earlier had sprouted small wings, and blew fireworks out it top for the finale!). It was a WALL of components, each full of knobs, jacks, and wires. I nearly knelt!
