Hmmm right now I have been listening to albums that are not prog at all. maybe because I get to hear prog whenever I want right here on AM...
Albums listening to at the moment: 1. Beck - "Morning Phase" a fucking brilliant super-calming album from this longtime multitalent! ... The Strypes - "Snapshot" these kids aren't even old enough to buy a beer in the clubs they are playing in. Lykke Li - "I Never Learn" new album from this Swedish singing sensation. CDs this week include but are not limited to
Thievery Corporation -2014- Saudade Thank you to Thor for pointing this one out, has a very 1960's Sergio Mendez sound to it. Valenor -2014- Valenor New band from UK, has a very heavy prog sound to it like you might hear on some old JANE or OMEGA In Progress -2014- North Atlantic Echoes Out of the USA this band has a very Neo Prog sound to it, very nice vocals and instrumentation makes this CD worth listening to A Lunatic's Daydream -2014- In Isolation Band out of the UK, the vocals can be a bit touch and go at times, but that can be forgiven as the music makes up for it.

One more....
Phoenix Again –2014- Look Out This band from Italy is all mostly instrumental but the vocals it does have are still rockin, has a sound even the Gooze would like and that makes 5  Last edited by spewie : 08-20-2014 at 04:18 PM.
