Time to be serious for one short minute....if baffles me that a man of your obvious musical taste and affinity for music with a little soul and edge (nor Grahme) does not like King's X.

ok seriousness over, back to the regularly scheduled programming...

Okey dokey - Camel is presently addicted to;

Xinema - Different Ways. The first album. Awesome musicians, awesome music
Sylvan - Presets - though not as good as Posthumous Silence
Camel - Never Let Go (Live): the best version of Dust and Dreams
Nightwish - Once. Last outing for the female lead singer
Rainbow - Long Live Rock and Roll (a guilty pleasure)!

Rainbow - That is really cool. Not only is that in my last five heard, but some of the cuts will be on the show in a week. Gates of Babylon, Kill the King and Rainbow Eyes are almost Prog.

The other four....

B-52's - Cosmic Thing
Carl Groves - Branch Upon The Ground
Scorpions - Taken by Force
Saga - The Security of Illusion

Sylvan - Agreed about the Presets. I was apprehensive of the path they took on Posthumous, and I think they lost their edge on Presets.

Re: What CD's Are you Playing RIght Now? Top 5

I usually have my iTunes on shuffle, so I'm getting a wide spread of stuff, from Michael Manring to Ben Harper to Eddie Palmieri.

however, I just bought Live at the Quick by Bela Fleck and the Flecktones; Fear of a Blank Planet by Porcupine Tree; and Falling In Between by Toto, so they're getting a lot of play...

New CD's in the listening stack:

King Crimson - The Nightwatch (1973 live in Amsterdam)
Jaco Patorius - The Birthday Concert
Adrian Belew - Belew Prints - The Acoustic Adriean Belew, Volume Two

That is it for now.

Re: What CD's Are you Playing RIght Now? Top 5

I was going to have a little break from buying records, but I guess that didn't happen. I'll retry after this...

Marvin Gaye: What's Going On
Some more Sly & the Family Stone, second-hand
The Future Sound of London: Accelerator

Also hoping to get little more System 7 (Hillage, Giraudy) pretty soon, the recent Mirror System album.

A couple of related photos on the following pages:
