Re: I Will Never Forget
I was living in Texas at the time, managing a Swimming Pool service business. My Wife had just returned from Manhattan after a seminar a mere three days before September 11th.
I was in a meeting that morning. The meeting wasn't going well and some arguing was starting to occur among the employees. I went into the main foyer of the office to get some paperwork. The TAODAY show was on. I caught a glimpse of the fire and building and the whole scene. Quickly gathered what was going on and shuffled back to the meeting. I immediate told the people I work with what was going on and that we should stop the meeting. The main owner was NOT going to stop the meeting. He continued. After a few minutes, he got up to get some paperwork in the main room. He came back in white as a ghost. "They've hit the freaking Pentagon...it's a terrorist attack." We all went home to be with our families...

Re: I Will Never Forget
I can't ever forget. Not a day passes without this event creeping into my mind at some point.
Where has it got those who perpetrated this heinous act? Nowhere!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 'nuff said. |
