I have downloaded FF4 on Mac OS X 10.5.8 and it looks just fine. I also have a 'beta' (haven't yet downloaded the final) version of FF4 on my Ubuntu laptop. It too seems fine.

I'm going to have to assume that the reports hereto have been on a platform OTHER than Linux or Mac OS X.
