Tinyfish (Acoustic) and The Reasoning in London.

Went to this gig mainly to see The Fishies if the truth be told but ended up enjoying the entire evening.

Tinyfish were asked to open with an acoustic set because the stage at The Borderline is TINY. What a great opening set they did too.

I wondered how their songs would transfer to acoustic and I'm delighted to say that they work beautifully. The banter was hilarious, real "among friends" type of thing. At one point drummer Leon was helpless with laughter and I worried that that would be the end of the set......no way. They ended up with a really interesting version of "All hands lost", one of the best tracks on the album and that set the crowd up nicely for The Reasoning.

The Reasoning played a great set featuring a lot of songs from their new album Dark Angel. Very good it is too. I must get copies of their two albums to Jim as I notice they aren't on The Moon.

A few beers were had and a rather severe headache this morning but a wonderful night catching up with old mates and I even think Steve Rothery was there too but he was busy chatting to others so I didn't interrupt.

If you like Magenta you'll like The Reasoning.
