Mel Torme would work for me. He could sing anything and wow, what an emotional and beautiful vocal instrument he had.

On another level: John Lennon from that liverpool group. What was their name??

And Holly Johnson from 'Frankie Goes to Hollywood" - Another Liverpool band.
