Mortis and Keithie on the road.

Just had a rather groovy weekend gigging with Mr Mortis.

Friday night we went down to "The Underworld" in Camden Town to see Riverside.

The band were EXCELLENT (needless to say) and played a really good set which, I think went:

00 Rapid Eye Movement
01 Beyond The Eyelids
02 Rainbow Box
03 I Turned You Down
04 Ultimate Trip
05 Conceiving You
06 Loose Heart
07 Parasomnia
08 Reality Dream II
09 Volte-Face
10 I Believe
11 Second Life Syndrome

Encore 1
12 02 Panic Room
13 Out Of Myself

Encore 2
14 Lucid Dream IV

The only criticism I had was that were we were standing IT WASN'T LOUD ENOUGH!!!!!

Pam, her brother and my mate Steve went along too and all enjoyed it apart from Steve who left after an hour saying that it wasn't heavy enough for him. I will try and get him along to a Pain of Salvation gig next and see if that does the business for him.

I would definitely see Riverside again, hopefully in a bigger venue.

Saturday was another good night down at the Peel to see Jadis.

Mortis and I arrived a little early so went into the adjoining pole dancing clud for a drink and for Mortis to ogle the dancers (I don't do that of course)..

Jadis played a terrific set:

1. What goes around
2. Where in the world
3. Asleep in my hands
4. There's a light
5. Between here and there
6. Follow me to Salzburg
7. Each and Everyday
8. Daylight Fades
9. Standing Still
10. Hear your voice
11. Make me move
12. Wonderful world
13. Please open your eyes
14. No Sacrifice
-----
15. Beginning and the end

Gary Chandler is very entertaining and there was a party atmosphere all night long with balloons and party popppers flying around. Great fun and even the two hour train journey home didn't dampen the high.

Thanks Mortis....I love your company but next time NO CORNISH PASTIES, eh?
