Show 83 - Heavy Prog, Heavy Fusion, Heavy Rock
After last week's lighter fare, it's time hit you over the head with some great thunderous sounds.
Karcius - Sphere (2003) Suggested to me by Owner/Program Director Jim a year or so ago, I never fully realized how good this CD was until I recently purchased it. Better late than never! Outstanding effort from the men from Montreal. Kunide Liquid Meat Evolution Lunatik: Highway To The Moon Synapse Back To Earth 1111 Labryrinthe Bois Ta Musique Absolute Decadence Tight jazzy rhythms..... Scott Henderson/Steve Smith/Victor Wooten - Vital Tech Tones (1998) A throw in purchase ($2.50 ![]() Crach Course Snake Soda Dr. Hee King Twang Giant Steps Lie Detector Could you pick three better musicians? Yes, that's the Coltrane song ![]() Tool - 10,000 Days (2006) Seems that long since their last CD, the unforgettable "Lateralus" (2000). This one's almost as good. A demanding listen, yet worth the effort. Vicarious Jambi Wings For Marie (Pt 1) 10,000 Days (Wings Pt 2) The Pot Lipan Conjuring Lost Keys (Blame Hoffman) Rosetta Stoned Intension Right In Two We'll skip the last song (Viginti Tres), it's got weird sounds, they like to do that. Vicarious is a blood-boiler, and The Pot is as an exciting song you'll hear...and it's NOT about pottery. Wings has such great tension and release. Rosetta Stoned is a bit graphic, but still well-done. Last edited by Rick and Roll : 05-24-2006 at 09:12 PM. |
