Genesis for Two Grand Pianos

This quickly became one of my favorite CDs. Details and MP3 samples here. It's been in the car changer most of the time since it was released.

Beautifully performed and well recorded--most piano recordings to me sound muffled somehow, but every note is crisp on this CD. And it's wonderful to hear every note because you find that some of the complex passages that were blurred in layers of sound on the Genesis recordings stand out in precise, isolated detail when performed on piano. It helps you appreciate the music in a whole new way.

It must have been well-received because they're working on a second. I will be supporting their efforts by buying the next CD, and the boost they'd get from airplay here would hopefully entice them to make a third.
