Interzone - 08/23/05 - What's New!? Part I

This week I’ll be doing a special series of two programs focusing music all released in 2005. It will not only focus on new releases but also archive and concert released issued in 2005.

Surely, doing a show that features new releases is nothing new, but from time to time, it’s nice to get an overview of what is out there. I’ve actually compiled quite a collection of new releases for the program. The first two shows will feature music from almost 40 artists. That should be enough to fill your ‘want list’ bag for a while.

I tend to find it amusing when I hear people say “seems like there’s nothing good out this year”. Seems like everytime I hear that, I always am amazed by the end of that year just how much I’ve found that was out there.

This year is no different.
