IQ in Bochum on Nov. 29th

Just a few words..

The venue took place at Zeche Bochum, small to medium sized hall in an old minery machine house. aprox 200 ppl attended.

The gig begun at 8:00 pm sharp (which is very unusual). IQ came on stage with music from a puter and entered the music. The first 40 min were filled with excellent performed music but with now heart. Then they played Harvest of Souls and I guess (also with the help of a couple of beers they had), they really begun to like the gig, as all of a sudden the soul came into the performance. The remaining was a gig of the finest, with the 2 encores they gave, it finnished after 2:30 hours. The only "minus" was Peter Nicholls. His voice sounded very thin. The vocals disappeared sometimes behind the instruments (this might have been a prob of the sound engineering), but the thinness remaind.

Nevertheless, Doris and myself had an excellent evening with IQ at the best.
