Oct 26 & 27 - I Wanna Be Sedated *Best of EP*
Originally the Jan 26, 2003 show, this is the oldest one referenced as a favorite. Interrestingly enough, the 5 winning shows got 2 votes each. This is actually was of my favorite shows, mostly for the consistent mood throughout. I hope you all enjoy it.
a side note: The other 17 suggested shows will be waiting in the wings as the favored replays for the upcoming year's worth of shows. So, don't be mad if your fav didn't get in. It will eventually. I. Moon Safari (Air) 1998 Air released their first album, Moon Safari, in '98 after a successful string of singles in France. Instead of looking towards the current dance trends, they combined euro-pop sounds with older synth sounds to make a very accessible, poppy, but still interesting album.

La Femme d'Argent (Dunckel/Godin) - 7:08
Sexy Boy (Dunckel/Godin) - 4:57
All I Need performed by Air / Beth Hirsch - 4:28
Kelly Watch the Stars (Dunckel/Godin) - 3:44
Talisman (Dunckel/Godin) - 4:16
Remember (Dunckel/Godin/Perrey) - 2:34
You Make It Easy performed by Air / Beth Hirsch - 4:00
Ce Matin-La (Dunckel/Godin/Woodcock) - 3:38
New Star in the Sky (Chanson Pour Solal) (Dunckel/Godin) - 5:38
Le Voyage de Penelope (Dunckel/Godin) - 3:10
II. You Go Now (Chroma Key) 2000 You Go Now is the second child of former Dream Theater keyboardist Kevin Moore's group Chroma Key. Kevin approaches techno here while still keeping himself grounded in the same proggy sound of the first album, Dead Air For Radios.

Get Back In The Car (Moore/Tushar) - 5:04
Another Permanent Address (Moore/Tushar) - 5:05
Nice to Know (Moore/Tushar) - 4:30
Lunar (Moore) - 3:14
When You Drive (Moore/Tushar) - 5:26
Subway (Moore) - 4:23
Please Hang Up (Moore) - 4:36
Astronaut Down (Moore) - 1:59
You Go Now (Moore) - 4:56
III. Another Green World (Brian Eno) 1975 Mostly instrumental, complex, and subdued, Brian Eno's third album Another Green World ('75) marked his high point in the 70s. Mixing collaborators like Phil Collins, John Cale, and Robert Fripp, he approached a sound of perfection in moody yet subtle and effectively produced prog.

Sky Saw (Eno) - 3:25
Over Fire Island (Eno) - 1:49
St. Elmo's Fire (Eno) - 2:56
In Dark Trees (Eno) - 2:29
The Big Ship (Eno) - 3:01
I'll Come Running (Eno) - 3:48
Another Green World (Eno) - 1:28
Sombre Reptiles (Eno) - 2:26
Little Fishes (Eno) - 1:30
Golden Hours (Eno) - 4:01
Becalmed (Eno) - 3:56
Zawinul/Lava (Eno) - 3:00
Everything Merges With the Night (Eno) - 3:59
Spirits Drifting (Eno) - 2:36
IV. Colmar - French Tour 1974 (Pink Floyd) 1974 While touring in '74, Pink Floyd played with the current working version of Wish You Were Here. After getting bootlegged numerous times while playing Dark Side of the Moon (then Eclipse), you'd think they would have been a bit more cautious. This is a piece of their first show on june, 22 1974 in Colmar, France. What's most interesting about this is that it's the first performance of Shine On You Crazy Diamond. Also included here is the first performance of Raving and Drooling, later renamed and rewritten as Sheep on Animals ('77). Finishing up this first set is a performance of Echoes.

Shine On You Crazy Diamond
Raving And Drooling
Echoes
|
