New Appleseed Cast

The Appleseed Cast has a new album. Spin.com has a sample song called "Great Lake Derelict" and here's the first review of the album on Make of Chalk.

Here's an interesting bit:

"The instrumentation on Illumination Ritual, the band’s first full-length since 2009’s Sagarmartha, was recorded over a three-month period with each member of the band improvising on the pieces recorded by the members before them, while the lyrics were written in the span of three nights starting after midnight." [Emphasis mine]
