Al Dimeola

Hard to believe it's been 24 years since I've seen him (before tonight). He can do things with an acoustic guitar that one can only dream of. Another wonderful concert experience. Go see him. You will also see an accordian player who will blow your doors off!

Re: Al Dimeola

When I saw him in 2006 he did just that. Although there wasn't an accordian player that year. I'm hoping he'll come down to Atlanta, and I'm just counting the days until the Return to Forever reunion tour.

But is it really an "acoustic" guitar when it has built-in electronics and volume controls that are then connected to electronic effects, even when it was once a hollow body guitar?

Line-up was musicians from Sardinia. the percussionist is a hoot, and he also has a 2nd guitarist.

No effects for Al. If he was truly electric it would have been one of the seven wonders. He was playing chords I didn't know existed.
