I know, I know

The concert season has gotten off to a good start in Montreal. After missing The Mars Volta on May 12 (it was sold out) I saw Porcupine Tree on May 16. It was a carbon copy of Rick's review. My only beef was that they made us wait 1 hour past the scheduled time for no apparent reason. I am not so young that standing in a hot room with a bunch of people is an opportunity to scope the chicks. Now all it means is some valuable time lost from sleep.

I have IQ and The Flower Kings on my calendar. I hope to convince some people to go with me but I am unsuccessful so far. If any Mooney is going to either of these, I would love to hook up and have a beer with them. Is the sleeping beauty of prog scheduling any visits to her northern castle in the near future?

Is that what I have to look forward to? I guess coupled with that video playing over and over of the band's past, the wait is a bitch.

That's the worst thing about prog. It's so hard to get someone to go!
