Space Ritual in London.

Another mind blowing night down the 100 Club with Nik Turner and the band.

Steve and I managed to get our place down the front in the centre of the stage and gradually got tanked up on the guiness and bitter waiting for the band to appear.

By the time they got on stage we, and the rest of the audience were FLYING HIGH!!!!!!

A sonic attack ensued and we were blown away.

What is it about Hawkwind fans (most of whom are in their late 40s/50s) that they can headbang better than fans of any other band? Pure synchronisation.........amazing.

Brainstorm
Watching the grass grow..........more like 'watching the grass glow' where we were.
Master of the Universe
Silver Machine .......with lots of audience participation. ie. Steve and Keithie up there singing.

Nik finished off the set on his own playing Tequila on the sax while the roadcrew dismantled the stage.

For some reason we were feeling hungry so we nipped into an all night cafe for a bite to eat. It's gone mid day here and I'm still feeling a bit "out there". Nik and the lads have that effect on you and if you get the chance to see them GO GO GO!!!!! You won't be disappointed.
