Interzone - 3/20/07 - Proto-Prog & Hard Rock IV

Hey all,

This week, I'm going to revisit the series of Proto-Prog and Hard Rock recordings, from the turn of the 1970s. There was a lot of formative music being made during this period during the same time full blown progressive rock was beginning. This series explores that music in further detail.

Wind-Dear Little Friend-(Seasons) -1971-Germany

Uriah Heep-Blind Eye-(The Magician’s Birthday)-1972-England

Excellent - the Toad, which I just featured and heard first on the Interzone (series III I think), brought out the inner hippie in the Moonies. Looks like the inner hippie emerges one more week!
