Show 39 - Nearfest Past

The great North East Art Rock Festival (NEARfest) is in two weeks. The weekend is always wonderful, and I've had the good fortune of being at the previous six (I enjoy the intraction with friends even more, that's why a Mooniefest would be awesome).

This week we'll be playing artists that have played the first six years. In two weeks we'll hear the bands for 2005 + a few alumni thrown in.

Why the break? We'll be hearing an "All American" rock show for July 4.

During the show I run mention most of theartists, but I want to give my fingers a break here.

I'll be away for both airings, so let me know how you like it!

Nathan Mahl - The Heretik Part 1
Crucible - Over The Falls
Anekdoten - Old Man And The Sea
Banco del Mutuo Soccorso - Miserere alla storia
Nexus - Wake Up Inside A Dream
White Willow - Anamnesis
Deus Ex Machina - Rhinocerous
Spaced Out - Minor Blast
Kraan - Nam Nam
Gerard - Delirium
High Wheel - Harvest
Mastermind - Brainstorm (all the parts )
Hidria Spacefolk - I Mantra

Steve Hackett:

Watcher/Hairless/Firth medley
The Steppes
Vampyre With A Healthy Appetite
Spectral Mornings
Camino Royale
Every Day

There's something for everyone here, except maybe a little RIO. The guitar lead in Every Day is a top 5 for me. It's perfect!

We'll feature Miriodor and the great DFA from the alumni group, along with most of the 2005 artists in two weeks.
