New Moon

Hi everyone,

I just got back from another Happy the Man show and caught the tail end of a conversation about new additions to the Moon. Since one cannot reply to the thread, I wanted to suggest something here.

I have been trying to play the new additions on my show, but the additions come in faster than I can get to them. Also, I want to play the best tunes so I tend to take time and research the music.
Again, it's a time killer.

The conversation tonight in the black box sparked an idea. I can tell everyone when I have slots on my show, and the Moonies can tell me what they'd like to hear from the new additions.

I'll finish compiling the additions through May (only two adds behind). However, if you all could take the fine new adds starting tonight, and let me know what you want to hear, I'll play them (esp the Rupi's Dance...nice job Tee! )

I have 7/24 and 7/31 open as shows dedicated to New Moon. And if there's a larger than expected response, then I can play the normal repeats with new tunes. In other words, 12 hours of new Moon (7/24,25,31, & 8/1).

What do you think?

sounds like a winner rick. Definetly work some Riverside in and I know I don't have to prod you to play Rupi's Dance

LMAO!!!!

"England - Garden Shed" has to be worth a play for the laugh factor if nothing else. I have to RQ some of this. I have no idea what it sounds like.

Garden Shed...

Garden Shed is one of the finest late 70s prog albums that exist! (In fact, I think I'm the one who uploaded that one a while back). It's fairly derivative, but they do a great job of providing a fresh perspective on the whole Yes/Genesis/KC thing.
