Show 35 - Catching Up

Something I'll never do in real life, but just a term describing some odds and ends (as the great George Carlin says, "if 24 balls are on the table and one falls off, is it an odd or an end?") for this week's show.

Galleon - cuts form "From Land To Ocean"

Three Colours
Land
Fall of Fame
The Price

All from Disc 1 (Disc 2 is a 52 minute piece!). Land is very rustic and thoroughly enjoyable number, and Fallof Fame I've played not too long ago.

Mostly Autumn - cuts from "The Last Bright Light" and "Spirit of Autumn Past"

Winter Mountain
This Great Blue Pearl
Evergreen
Hollow
The Last Bright Light
Shrinking Violet

I was to play some for the Rosfest show, but they couldn't make it, so I shelved the Mostly Autumn. Thought it would be good to hear some.

The chorus of Blue Pearl is a great sing-a-long, and Evergreen is a classic.

Condition Red - cuts from the self-titled release

Calls Out My Name
Judgement Day
Lighthouse
Final Words

Odd band, a melding of metal, fusion, and jazz. You'll like this one.

Porcupine Tree - cuts from "Deadwing"

Deadwing
Shallow
Lazarus
Halo
Arriving Somewhere (but not here)
Mellotron Scratch
Open Car
Start of Something Beautiful

All but the last song, as much as time allows.....a CD that has gotten a lot of great pub and play. Old PT fans and newbies such as myself will find something enjoyable here.

Please note the time change...and have a good holiday weekend!

That 52 minute piece from Disc 2 of Galleon is a classic.
