Interzone - May 10, 2005: Jazz-Rock III
Hello.....
This week I’ll be featuring another three hours of jazz-rock fusion. Is it jazz? Is it rock? Who knows? Who cares? Interzone is all about blurring the lines between the black and the white. It used to be easy to identify jazz-fusion back when a few bands were emerging to the forefront of the movement. But after 35 years, it has become an entire class of music and to simply call it jazz, or rock, or prog just doesn't do it justice. So as time goes on, I'll be exploring this broad continuum. Please join me Interzone premieres each Tuesday evening from 8pm to 11pm eastern time and replays Wednesday afternoons from 2pm-5pm. - Cozy PS - Playlist to come

Exonerated Flea?
That's a cool name!
Ozone Quartet (formerly Cloud Nine) and Boud Deun were fairly local to us East coasters. I think Boud Deun is close to you Cozy? Matt Eiland (bassist) has Stanley Clarkish like fingers. Saw Ozone do Zep's "four Sticks" once. Great stuff. |

Gags Eagles
Great shot, except those NFC east teams and thier fans are no threat to the very deep Eagles, I'm sure I could bust on him but I'm nice, from New England, and a PATRIOTS FANATIC!!

<<I think Boud Deun is close to you Cozy?>>
Yep. Though they aren't around anymore. Too bad. <<Perigio reminds me of Nova. must be the soprano sax... great show, Cozy! >> I'm not sure about this, but I think they shared a member or two at one point. I'm a big fan of Perigeo because each of their first several records had a bit of a different sound/style. << Great shot, except those NFC east teams and thier fans are no threat to the very deep Eagles, I'm sure I could bust on him but I'm nice, from New England, and a PATRIOTS FANATIC!!>> Heh. I'm a big Boston sports fan (go Red Sox!). Always have been. Though in football my #1 is Dallas, though there hasn't been much to root for lately. Philly can't hang up there forever.... ![]() Thanks for listenin' this week, guys! - Cozy
