"Mistakes" Fundraiser

Progdirjim makes the following mistakes:

Buys:
Khan - Space Shanties, even though Keithie just donated it to the moon.
Egg - Egg, Even though PDJ already pre-ordered it months ago.
It Bites - Once Around The World, even though Keithie bought it for us awhile ago...

Any of these titles are available for a starting bid of $20. We pay shipping. At $20, Aural Moon will make about 75 cents per title. Let us know if you're interested. Unless there's more interest in this than I expect, bidding will close one week from today (11:21 PM, Friday November 26, PST)...

Quantity discount (say $3.00) available if you want all three...

Egg and Khan........

I'll take these two Jim.

Even though I have Khan on LP I want the CD.

The second "It bites" CD was actually a mistake from Amazon. They sent you two copies...........tee hee!!!!!

Let me know what to do next. I could pay via PayPal to AM if that is easier.

I'll give you $50 for the two. That's my opening bid.

Not much of a fundraiser

I saw the title of this thread and thought it'd be about this: "mistakes" being obvious missing albums on the playlist that are rare and expensive, such as Mainhorse, the pre-Yes Partick Moraz group. I was thinking, hmmm, maybe Jim is giving up finding Mainhorse and Sotos and others "on the cheap" and wants to start a little fundraiser for hard to find music. That could be interesting.

Of course, you ain't getting a dime outta me until after Christmas....

Mainhorse...

Sorry- off the original fundraising topic, but:

Good news: I have the Mainhorse LP in my vinyl collection

Bad news: I have not yet embarked on the process of digitizing any vinyl...

But, it's a goal; perhaps during the coming holidays I can get that going.

Perhaps there's a separate thread to start regarding any tricks/tips/software experiences at doing so, and the ease/difficulty of cleaning up the sound. Just a thought....

Khan and Egg sold to the London Headbanger - paypal works for me if it works for you Keithie - I'll get those shipped ASAP.

Spaz, the 75 cents figure was out of $20, and allowed for estimated shipping costs. But, another way to look at it is that I'd already spent the $20, so it's 20 more bucks. And as Keithie mentioned, the It Bites was actually a mistake from Amazon, so that's pure profit. I was trying to keep the story simple.

So, It Bites - Once Around The World (minimum bid $15) and a new one - Unicorn Records Sampler (minimum bid $15) are available. The Unicorn Sampler includes tracks from Spaced Out, Hamadryad, Xinema, Talisma, Heon, Addison Project, Mystery and Martin Maheux Circle, and is really good...

Shall I assume that's a $15 bid Poda? So far it's yours - we'll give others until Wednesday (since this is going far better than I expected)
