let's get ready to ruffle!!!!!!!

Ok, please read carefully -

I do not agree with Jim that having Francis Monkman on a record holds hope. If that were the case, then Foreigner and Bad Company would be on Aural Moon (given their lineage).

However, Al Stewart is worth a look, and that's what is occuring. I do not find Alan Parsons' stuff after I Robot prog, but it's here.

I've been withholding this until now - some of your additions are not really prog, just as some of my suggestions (such as Manfred Mann) are not too proggy in places.

I point out bands like Appleseed Cast - seem to me kind of Indie (if I had to label it) - sort of reminiscent of Phish (which I really don't agree as AM-style, but it's here so OK with me). Another artist is Tony Palacios, who is just a good guitarist. A lot of Frank Gambale and all of Satriani and Steve Vai is missing (who can be very proggy), yet Palacios is here.

For those reasons, give Jim a chance to stick his toe in the water on Al Stewart. Also, I really don't think Al gives a hoot about us anyway!
