Oh, I see now - I clicked on the "2112" link in your post, and the "All Music Guide" came up - that's the source of the misinformation.
The statement of Caress of Steel "confusing many of its fans" is a perfect example of one my pet peeves, what I like to call "Record Reviewer Unresearched False Statements".

Yes, I should probably put a disclaimer on any allmusic links
(and check more details against the albums). Mostly their reviews are ok, but the bad ones are overwhelmingly of the camp that derides Progressive Rock, instead of at least accepting it as valid music. If you want good reviews and real insight, check out the
Gibraltar Encyclopedia of Progressive Rock. I've considered just linking from them in total before, but the album information isn't as full as what's on allmusic.
