Roger Waters in Cologne on April 16th

10 days after the gig I feel that I have to post someting.

Cologne Arena is a sports arena with a capacity of aprox. 8000 ppl for gigs. The place was full. Fortunately for Doris and myself, all places were seats..so we did not have to stand up for the nearly 3 hours gig.

Here is the line up of the group (same as "In The Flesh" tour):

Roger Waters (vocals, bass)
Andy Fairweather Low (guitar)
Snowy White – (guitar)
Dave Kilminster – (guitar and vocals)
Graham Broad - (drums)
Jon Carin – (keyboards)
Harry Waters – (hammond)
Ian Ritchie - (saxophone)
Katie Kissoon - (vocals)
PP Arnold - (vocals)
Carol Kenyon (vocals)

First part of the gig was PF songs from The Wall, Animals, The final Cut and several Roger Water songs (aprox 1:30 hours). Chicken skin 70% of the time, so splendid it was.

Second part was DSOTM in complete length, with several jammings..(chicken skin 100% of the time). The encore were some pieces from The wall (aprox 20 min), and again chicken skin.

The concert all in all was a acoustical and visual orgy!!!

Here is a link of a guy in CH who made pics of the whole gig a couple of days earlier in Zurich (They are near to the quality of Vax' pics...). A total of 269 pics, but look them through all, it is worthwhile..

Doris and I agree, that this was within the no 3 best gigs we ever saw.

If you still have the opportunity and the tour stops nearby to you, go. It is worthwhile the money (and here it was expensive)...
