Hey Moonies!
This week I'll be continuing the series that explores the vast amount of music to be found on the ECM label.
ECM emerged at a time when the US was setting most of the trends in the jazz recording business. Eicher’s vision was to bring new and contemporary ideas to classic music traditions while also producing records of distinct production quality. The end result is a diverse catalog of music in the jazz, jazz-rock, avant-garde, new age, and contemporary music veins.
