Avian and I agree on this decision - even though our personal politics are not 100% in agreement. I'm not even going to espouse my political view, since I think it's irrelevant to my role at AM. Ultimately the decision was about separating politics in general from the music, not about eliminating a specific political view.
We welcome listeners from all geographical, religious, and socio-political positions...
