Another week, another show...this week we'll continue in our Sissyphysian (sp?) attempt to highlight new Moon additions.
Except for the first tune, this next group has been heretofore unlistened to my your humble DJ. I'm looking forward to hearing them.
Farpoint - Circles
Kaipa - Mindrevolutions
Riverside - The Curtain Falls
Riverside - The Same River
(thanks Dinosaur!)
Patrick O'Hearn - Sacred Heart
Galahad - Ocean Blue
Pat Metheny - The Epic
Lincoln Veranese - Time Table
Men of Lake - Twilight Alehouse
(from the "River of Constant Change" Genesis tribute)
Phil Mercy - The Bryden 2-Step for Amphibians
Algebra - De-Constructing Wyatt
(from the "To Cantebury & Beyond" tribute)
I'm not normally a fan of tributes, so often they turn out like Squire and Sherwood doing "Comfortably Numb"

but these tunes appear cool. I assume the Bryden is part one

. I saw the ELP tribute also, but too late to include in this show. Now generally, I enjoy tribute bands but that's another story.
Bondage - Anima Terra
And now a disc not on the Moon yet, but it's ripped for submission..and at the right speed!
Kit Watkins - Early Solo Works 1980-1982
Glass of Time
Mt. St. Helens
Coin Op-Era
Labyrinth
Spring 1980
White Chrome Yellow Shine
Two Worlds
4 Bars - 1 Unit
Siam
Audia
Cycles
Here are 11 of the 14 tunes from this great release. Chrome and Labyrinth are of course Happy the Man tunes. Coin Op-Era reminds me of elephants...you'll hear it. It gets somewhat ambient towards the latter tunes, but it's compelling stuff. I used to listen to Kit Watkins a lot in college...it conjures up memories of well, fun times.
