If last week's Gentle Giant show was the 'cake', then this week's show with the Dixie Dregs is certainly the 'icing'.
I'm not familiar with any of the showcased music in the 1st half of the show and look forward to the tasy morsels you've selected for our listening pleasure. That's why i dial in in the first place - to expand my musical horizons!
This set of Dregs music covers the gamut in terms of styles - and showcases some of the fastest guitar strumming this side of Pete Townsend. I'm recording it as i couldn't stay up late enough Sunday night to hear it all. Did i hear someone say Geezer?!

p.s. Just as an fyi - There is a limited edition Dregs album from '75 entitled 'The Great Spectacular'. This was their original demo and features early arrangements of tunes from later albums. It's now available on cd and is sometimes for sale at Dregs shows.
