Some more of the additions to the ever gluttonous Moon library... I hope we don't burst like the man in Python's "Meaning of Life"!
Parallel Mind - Chromatic
Great tune..as with a lot of these I was going sight unseen (or sound unheard)...should have known there's a Kopecky on this one (bass).
Ayreon - Day 2 - Isolation
The Dutch band puts out a concept record to end all records.
Lyle Mays - Slink
As always, smooth.....
Marsupilami - Dorian Deep
A "new" addition from 1970! Sort of bombastic, in the older British prog vein. Fun tune.
Project Vector - Acid Rain
A bit too 80's style pop for me, but it's got some depth.
Squonk Opera - The Accident
A lot of fun to see live, the music is not as good, but still worth the trouble.
Toccata - Concecuencias
The second of the only two songs so far on the Moon by the band that made everyone gasp with their intricacies.
Lesiem - Floreat
When I researched, I came up with "German pop with Gregorian chants". Now that's enticing...cool stuff.
Franklin-Neumann Project - The Portal
I would like this more if it were a band arrangement. As in most music where it's just one or two people, it needs more. Good ideas, but suffers a bit from not having the group feel.
Kronos Quartet - Kutambarara (Spreading)
I like this one, from their "Pieces of Africa" CD.
Conventum - Les Critcotteuses
French-Canadian group, kind of flew under the radar. Good stuff.
Isuldurs Bane - Initiation
They played Nearfest 2002.
Alquin - Soft Royce
Dutch group, way back to 1972 for this one.
Crucis - Mes
Making our way down to Argentina.
Drop Trio - Mothership
Nice jazz/fusion. There's a thread in the forums somewhere.
Alamaailman Vasarat - Vasaraasialainen
Damn my fingers are tired

. Double cello attack, lots of fun at Nearfest 2003. Band name means "Hammers of the Underworld" and NOT "Vasectomy for a mailman".
Tilion - Torpore Cerebrale
Over to Italy. Jet lag is setting in...nice long tune.
FM - Risco No Ceu
This is the Portugese FM
Jean-Marc Fauconnier - Antichambre Du Reve
....still travelling....
Budi Un Gumbls - Lied Uber Eine Liebe
Another fine addition.
Hope you find some of these to your liking, and request them.
Dixie Dregs - Dregs Of the Earth
Road Expense
Pride O' The Farm
Twiggs Approved
Hereafter
The Great Spectacular
Broad Street Strut
I'm Freaking Out
Old World
Man, I'm glad this was in the latest batch of new music. This is one of my very favorite records. Ever.
Hereafter is a beautiful arrangement, my favorite Dregs tune. Pride is the obligatory hoedown, Spectacular is a very well-known tune and very descriptive of the Dregs sound. And of course, I'm Freaking Out is the long fusion piece. Gets very heavy, and delivers the knockout blow...that's why we have the nice acoustic piece Old World to administer the smelling salts.
I try to keep up with the additions, and some fall through the cracks, and some I wasn't that keen on. Others such as Kirk's CD, will be played in its entirety next week, well just because I want to. There's also a few others I'll be tossing in soon.
Take the dramamine!
