Kazumi Watanabe _The Spice of Life_ with Bill Bruford and Jeff Berlin is quite nice. I also have his _Mobo Club_ album, which is equally interesting. "Kyosei Seppun" (5th track) is wild. definitely worth adding to the catalog if you can find 'em
Also if you're fans of John Scofield fusion style stuff, the 7th track on _Mobo Club_, "Circadian Rhythm" should sound quite familiar.
Hmm that reminds me of some other stuff Scofield has participated in, particularly the album _Bass Desires_ by Marc Johnson, with Bill Frisell (another interesting chap) and Peter Erskine. The first track on that one, "Samurai Hee Haw" is great fun.
