Went to the show. It was the DVD release of Yesspeak. Followed by a Live from Los Angeles acoustic set that lasted 30 minutes. The DVD was very good about some of the history and a lot of the behind the scenes of last years European tour. The band manager uses a Apple Powerbook BTW. Rick Wakeman is a very funny man. And the woman behind me thinks Jon Anderson is a real life hobbit.

The live acoustic show was wonderful. Rick played only a piano which gave the music a jazzy feel to it. After Roundabout, they called that the Cab Calloway version of the song. Jon also forgot some lyrics to 'I've Seen All Good People' and it was a funny moment. Jon and Chris's vocals are still great after all these years. At the beginning before the DVD part started, they played a couple of songs and the sound was omitted due to tech problems. I yelled out welcome to Yes "NO" Speak and everyone laughed.

All in all it was an enjoyable evening with a promise of a tour this April and May. I hope I finally get to see 'em live. The 2 shows I had tickets to in OKC were both cancelled due to poor ticket sales.

Excellent!!!

Glad you enjoyed it tee and I hope you get to see them live this year.

Jon as a real life Hobbit? I can see where she's coming from there but I'd say he was more of a lyrical and vocal Wizard.

I wonder if copies of the acoustic set will ever be available. I reckon it must have been a great experience and, as mossy said in the shoutbox, there's a name in england for people like you......git!!!! :)

Thanks for the post.

Yep, that would be very interesting.

Thanks for the reviews, I have already a ticket for the tour in summer and I was wondering what I might expect.
