What a fun set!
|
Excellent set, thank you!
|
Thanks, guys! Mexico doesn't have a whole lot of good music, but we managed to pick a solid 2 hour set :) I even discovered some new things myself from Dirk's half of the set!
Los Dugs Dugs have quite a few albums, don't know exactly how many. That track is taken from their best album, "Smog". That one should be easily obtainable in the US, as it had several reissues on CD (I've seen at least 2 different ones). Try Greg Walker or Doug Larson. cheers, Alex. |
Cusco
As far as Mexico goes, check out Cusco. Go the playlist and request Montezuma. I think you'll like it.

Well crap, I thought they were Mexican. All thier music is Mexican themed, isn't it? Their album covers and their material?
|
Many of their album covers and song titles are native American themed, not specific to Mexico. Cusco is actually a Peruvian town, and thus Incan in origin. Their album 2002 has a whale on the cover.
